Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) has announced an integrated media plan to cover the activities of the 11th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2022), which kicks off Wednesday at the Expo Centre Sharjah under the theme "Challenges and Solutions".
Organised by the International Government Communication Center of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, the event hosts more than 160  global speakers and experts in 80 diverse events.

The authority, through Sharjah TV, is keeping pace with the activities of the opening ceremony of the forum through a live broadcast, which also transmits to the viewers the proceedings of the dialogue sessions, inspiring speeches and workshops aimed at enriching the communication skills of the public, and sheds light on the agenda of the forum and the daily sessions. The forum also receives special coverage from “News Centre" through "Al Dar News" bulletins, which hosts guests, speakers and the public in direct dialogue meetings.

Sharjah TV is following the distribution ceremony of the Sharjah Government Communication Award on the final day of the forum, which showcases the best achievements and practices of government communication at the local, Arab and international levels, and honours those with pioneering experiences from individuals, ministries, agencies, government and semi-governmental institutions, and the private sector.

Sharjah Radio allocates a programme to follow up on the activities of the forum, which is broadcast from 10:00 until 12:00 PM. Sharjah Radio also organises dialogue session titled “ Sustainable Media” at the “University Challenge “Hall, targeting experts in the media affairs, content creators and academics. The session also reviews the views and practical experiences of elite producers, anchors, and social media influencers.

As part of its role in enhancing the communication skills of media students and government communication employees, the Sharjah Media Training Centre of the SBA organises two training workshops during the two- days forum on “digital content production” and “discover your voice”, from 1-3 PM.

In order to enhance its presence in the Forum and the transmission of its events to English-speaking people, through "Pulse 95 Live from IGCF 2022" and “Eyes on”.
