Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) held a joint meeting with the delegation of the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) at the Council’s headquarters, where the meeting discussed establishing the new Dibba Al Hisn stadium in Al Hisn Island, in translation of the royal directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to quickly complete the construction of a stadium and a new headquarters for Dibba Al Hisn Club on Al Hisn Island.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of SSC; Nabil Muhammad Ashour, Director of the Support Services Department; Eng. Asmaa Al Belushi, Head of the Sports Facilities Follow-up Department in the Department; Eng. Mona Obaid Al Shamsi, Head of the Design Division in the department; Engineer Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Mechanical Engineer; Eng. Abdullah Al Tunaiji, Branch manager; and Eng. Iman Al Naqbi, head of the projects department in in Dibba Al Hisn.
His Excellency Al Hazami stressed that the Council and the Department of Public Works aspire that the new Dibba Al Hisn Stadium will be a wonderful sports interface in Sharjah, thanks to the unlimited support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and as a new gift for sports and athletes in the emirate, which is rich in a wonderful nature that contributes to decorating sports projects such as the upcoming Dibba Al-Hisn Stadium project.
His Excellency Al Hazami praised the distinguished cooperation of the Department with the Council, indicating that all efforts are within the framework of the completion of the new project to be a new achievement within the Emirate's sports facilities.
