Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council is organising an outdoor camp for the Emirate's handball and volleyball players of various age groups in Serbia, from 14 to 25 August, with the participation of 36 players, including 20 handball players and 16 volleyball players.
This comes under the supervision of three coaches, as part of the vision of the Department of Sports and Development Affairs to discover and nurture talents and provide opportunities for contact with players from different schools. The camp includes sessions with players from Europe in both games, among other activities.
Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Director of the Department of Sports and Development Affairs, indicated that the holding of camps for handball and volleyball players is a continuation of the development plan of the department after organising the external camp in Turkey for basketball players.
