Al Khasouni praises success of Mleiha Club's summer activities

Sharjah 24: Following a great success exceeding expectations, Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club will close its summer activities, on August 17.
The summer activities were organised under the umbrella of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) and under the slogan “Our Holiday is Different.”

The events, which succeeded in attracting 333 participants, had a great achievements and a number of sports activities, both collective and individual.

Activities organised by the club, during the summer activity weeks, included several tournaments within the framework of summer activities, in addition to swimming, chess, athletics, cultural, artistic and community activities, workshops, lectures and visits outside the club.

In this context, Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Club, was briefed on the closing ceremony, to keep pace with the great success that accompanied the launch of the summer activities.

Al Khasouni met, Sunday, at the club’s headquarters, the supervisors of the summer activities to review the last week preparations of “Our Holiday is Different”, which reflected the directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming at convening events and programmes that benefit and prepare participants for sports, cultural and national activities that serve Sharjah in all fields.

Al Khasouni praised the efforts of all the organisers of the summer activities of Mleiha Club, and confirmed that the ceremony will be an elegant and distinguished party, up to the level of the end of the event.

During the meeting, Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni thanked Sharjah Sports Council for supporting the summer activities and all those who contributed to the success of the activities, including institutions, volunteers, executives and players participating in the activities that were held in within and outside the club.
