The visit was not a traditional visit, whereas it allowed members of the Mleiha Club, from different ages, to watch live performances, experience the life of marine organisms and learn about the importance of sustaining intellectual life.
The participants moved between the different marine life stations. They were introduced to the important role that Sharjah Aquarium offers in raising awareness on the importance of the marine environment to humanity in general, and how to preserve it from all dangers.
During the tour, they learned about the nature of marine life in the depths of the sea, meeting a number of qualified specialists and divers.
In the same context, the visitors participated in a number of workshops where they learned national information and details of the achievements made on the land of the UAE.
Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, Secretary General of Mleiha Club, confirmed that the tourist and cultural introductory trips are an integral part of the summer of Maliha Club, whereas members gain a lot of information about the places they visit.
Al Ketbi added that the aim of organising this trip to the Sharjah Aquarium is to acquaint the generations participating in this summer activity, whose numbers exceed 333 participants, with the wonderful landmarks of the Emirate of Sharjah.
