At the meetings held in Sharjah, the committees reviewed their agendas for the future and deliberated on their roles in empowering Arab children to become leaders, developing their capacities, fostering positive behaviours, and encouraging initiatives that enable their active participation and contribution to societal development.
Furthermore, the children actively engaged in these meetings, expressing their views on future plans and how they can contribute, as they are integral members of both their families and society.
Notably, the Arab Children's Parliament extended its support to the "Akleer Al Nada" initiative, which seeks to aid Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services in its efforts to assist children with disabilities. The children showed great interest in this initiative and actively participated in its various activities.
Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament, highlighted the Parliament's two committees: the Children's Rights Committee and the Activities Committee, each comprising members from different Arab countries. These committees regularly convene during each session to discuss programmes, activities, and plans, all contributing to the Parliament's overall mission.
