APC to publish the fifth Young Parliamentarian magazine

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC), chaired the meeting with members of the editorial board of the Young Parliamentarian magazine, issued by APC on a regular basis, and discussed the plans for editing the magazine to be a readable media window for Arab children.
APC prepares to complete the preparation of the fifth issue, published in conjunction with the third session of second session, which is scheduled to be held on the twenty-sixth of February.

During the meeting, which was held at the Parliament’s headquarters in Sharjah, the magazine’s chapters and contributions of APC children were discussed.

The meeting discussed the editorial policies of the magazine, which works to raise the culture of the child in the Arab world, as well as the interest in the artistic production of the pages of the Young Parliamentarian magazine.

The meeting touched on the methodology of producing the pages and employing images and colours in dealing with all topics, and what constitutes the children’s attention whereas the magazine is characterized by diversity and comprehensiveness for many modern topics that express the opinion of children.  The magazine invites children to participate in editing the pages, articles, dialogues and general culture.

His Excellency Ayman Othman Al Barout explained that the meeting aimed to review the issuance of the new copy of the Young Parliamentarian magazine, which touches on the child, building his present, looking towards his future, and addressing issues and topics that affect the child, his family and his educational environment in a renewed media vision.
