Dana Hassan Al Hamadi won bronze in the under-10 division, and Reem Al Jasmi won bronze in the under-12 division.
Najla Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chess & Culture Club for Sharjah Women, was delighted by the players' accomplishments in the championship and said that the club's hard work in preparing the players for local and international competitions was reflected in the players' success in bringing home brightly coloured medals. This accomplishment should serve as both inspiration and a call to action to keep things going in the right direction.
The President of the Club's Board of Directors congratulated the victorious players and urged them to continue their winning ways in future competitions. Al Shamsi stressed that elevating the players' skill level is a top priority in order to promote them to the national team, boost their worldwide rankings, and ultimately bring home international championships.
She extended her best wishes not only to Anoud Issa, a member of both the club and the national team, but also to the Chess Federation as a whole for their success in the Arab Games in Algeria. That's part of the club's annual plan of action and set of objectives.
