Sharjah24: Mleiha Sports Club (MSC) concluded on Monday evening its championship called (The Fourth International Blitz Chess Championship), attracting great international players with achieving great success and international titles. About 160 male and female players from 26 countries participated in the Championship.
The tournament was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Salem Al Khasouni, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Maliha Club, and in the presence of His Excellency Omar Numan Al Ali, Assistant Secretary-General of the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club and Chairman of the Game Publication Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah.
After concluding the competition, Abdullah Salem Al Khasouni and Omar Numan Al Ali honoured the top ten winners, presenting several prizes.
He extended his thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Sports Council and the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club for their support and contribution to the success of the tournament, stressing that the club is pleased to organise the tournament annually during the holy month of Ramadan.
