UAE carries out 80th airdrop of humanitarian aid to support Gaza

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The UAE continues its humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip, completing the 80th airdrop of relief aid today under the “Birds of Goodness Operation.” This mission is being carried out in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and with the participation of Germany and Indonesia.

Delivery of essential food supplies

The latest airdrop included essential food supplies, prepared with support from Emirati charitable organisations, aimed at addressing the urgent needs of Gaza residents amid worsening humanitarian conditions.

Over 4,000 tonnes of aid delivered

With this airdrop, the total aid delivered through the operation has exceeded 4,068 tonnes, consisting of food and vital relief materials, underscoring the UAE’s firm commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and enhancing their resilience.

Global cooperation and humanitarian leadership

These efforts highlight the UAE’s leading role in international humanitarian relief by fostering regional and global cooperation and promoting a culture of generosity to ease the suffering of those affected by conflict and disaster.
