Officials from both organisations greeted the visitors, including Obaid Said Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah City Municipality, and Fahad Shehail, Group Chief Operating Officer of BEEAH.
Al-Tunaiji emphasised that the visit is part of ongoing collaboration between the Municipality, BEEAH, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that its purpose is to explore leading environmental practises worldwide and the contribution of the Municipality and BEEAH to the goal of sustainable development in the future.
Shehail said that the visit paves the way for the Group and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to work together in innovative ways and improves the delivery of top-notch environmental services.
The group was taken on a short tour of Sharjah's most famous monuments to give them a taste of the emirate's distinctive architectural style, which follows the highest international standards.
They viewed a short film detailing the groundbreaking environmental initiatives undertaken by BEEAH Group and the Municipality of Sharjah City.
