“Our Fish is Safe”: Promoting Food Security in Sharjah

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Fish Resources Authority organised an interactive workshop titled "Our Fish is Safe" for Sharjah International Airport employees as part of its ongoing efforts to raise community awareness of food security and seafood safety.

The workshop, which targeted between 30 and 50 employees, featured an interactive atmosphere, addressing the importance of selecting fresh fish, proper storage methods, and supporting local production in enhancing food security.

The workshop also included educational activities and open discussions on the challenges and opportunities in this vital field.

Promoting a Culture of Safe Food and Social Responsibility

At the conclusion of the event, vouchers provided by the Sharjah Cooperative Society were distributed to the workshop winners in recognition of their active participation and constructive engagement.

This initiative is part of a series of events organised by the Authority in cooperation with various entities and institutions to promote a culture of safe food and social responsibility in the Emirate of Sharjah.
