“Our Thursday is Different”: Sajaya Young Ladies initiative

Sharjah 24: Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah is launching a bi-monthly initiative titled "Our Thursday is Different" as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen community partnerships and open effective channels of communication with members and their families, contributing to building an interactive and sustainable relationship between the center and the community.

A variety of activities

The initiative offers a diverse programme of cultural and artistic activities, including panel discussions, film and theatrical performances, and musical evenings.

All activities aim to develop girls' creativity, discover and hone their talents, and showcase the outcomes of various workshops and training programmes.

Spreading cultural and raising artistic awareness

"Our Thursday is Different" seeks to achieve a number of goals, most notably strengthening a sense of belonging to the centre, developing its programmes based on feedback from parents and members, and spreading cultural and raising artistic awareness in a safe and stimulating environment for the exchange of ideas and constructive dialogue.

Comprehensive educational and entertainment experience

The event is a comprehensive educational and entertainment experience that caters to the interests of all family members. It also contributes to instilling values such as cooperation and mutual appreciation, with the participation of several local entities and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah that support the initiative and contribute to its success.

“Our Thursday is Different” initiative will launch on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Sajaya Young Ladies in Al Qarayen.
