Sharjah 24 – WAM: In celebration of World Cleanup Day, Sharjah Sustainable City, in partnership with Sharjah Municipality and Bee’ah, organised a clean-up campaign at Al Khan Beach. This initiative highlights the community's commitment to environmental stewardship.
Yousef Ahmed Al Mutawa, CEO of Sharjah Sustainable City, emphasised that the campaign aims to raise awareness about preserving natural landscapes and marine life, aligning with broader goals of environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, noted that the initiative underscores the municipality’s commitment to enhancing the emirate's aesthetic appeal and maintaining the cleanliness of its popular tourist beaches, especially during the summer.

Rafael Lopez, CEO of the Waste Collection and City Cleaning Sector at Bee’ah, added that preventing waste from affecting our surroundings is crucial for the health of ecosystems and communities. He expressed pride in collaborating with Sharjah Sustainable City and Sharjah Municipality to make a positive impact at Al Khan Beach.
