Sharjah24: The Arabic Language Education Center for Gulf States, a unit of The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), is participating in the 32nd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023, organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center under the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
The center's participation aligns with the directives and plan of ABEGS and its units in member countries. The aim is to spread knowledge and disseminate the scientific output of the office and its units in various fields of education and learning, by presenting scientific publications to relevant institutions, specialists, and visitors to the fair. Additionally, this participation aims to market the produced materials and solidify the presence of the Arab Education Office and its units.

The participation of the Gulf Arabic Language Education Center includes showcasing a range of new publications in the field of Arabic language education and learning. These publications address topics of great importance, such as a study on developing electronic reading skills for secondary school students and a reference framework for employing technology in teaching and learning the Arabic language.

The centre places great emphasis on continuous and active participation in such events to facilitate interaction and communication between creators of cultural, intellectual, scientific, and creative works and the readership, encompassing diverse inclinations and generations.

Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of the Arabic Language Education Center for the Gulf States, emphasised the center's commitment to annual participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. The center's pavilion reflects the importance given to the Arabic language, symbolised by the design in the shape of the Arabic letter "Ḍād."

He invited visitors to explore the pavilion and discover its valuable publications in the field of Arabic language education and learning. Additionally, the centre's participation includes publications that contribute to conferences, symposiums, and specialised seminars on the Arabic language. These publications benefit educators at all levels, including teachers, supervisors, and policymakers, providing insights into the Arabic language and its development.
