Al Suwaidi spectacular launch of Sir Bu Nair Festival on Thursday

Sharjah24: Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, Director of the Marine Sustainability Department at the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah (EPAA), revealed that, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the activities of Sir Bu Nair Festival 23, one of Sharjah's iconic festival, kicked off on Friday.

Al Suwaidi added, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that Sir Bu Nair Island is an essential island in the United Arab Emirates, indicating the full readiness for the festival, taken three months to prepare, in cooperation with all participating institutions.

He pointed out that the festival includes various activities, such as the tug-of-war and the pearl hunt.
