The festival will include four tournaments, volleyball, football video game, swimming, and kayaking.
The festival, organized by the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (SPAA) in Sharjah, includes several other events aiming to connect new generations with the nature reserve and Sharjah’s marine heritage.
Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the SSC, stressed the importance of communication among generations, and sport’s role in the aspect through age diversity of participants.
It is noteworthy that Khaled Mohammed Ahmed, Head of the Sports Events Division of the SSC, will supervise the tournaments. In addition, many parties will cooperate with the EPAA in organizing the festival, namely: Sharjah Government Media Bureau, Sharjah Sports Council, Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, Sharjah Police, Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority, Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, Sharjah Institute for Heritage, and Emirates Marine Environmental Group.
