Sharjah24: Sharjah International Marine Sports Club (SIMSC) participated in the 22nd Sir Bu Nair Festival through many marine and sports activities and events that were well received by all participants and visitors to the festival.
The club was keen to participate in the festival, which aims to highlight the environmental and cultural status of the Sir Bu Nair Reserve, by organising a special exhibition that included displaying many diving photos, and introducing the various marine activities organised by the club throughout the year in all the beaches of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The club also organised, during the festival's activities, a heritage rowing race, a kayak race, and a fishing competition, which received wide participation from various groups and was very popular, with 17 boats participating.
The club’s team expressed its happiness at participating and actively participating in the twenty-second session of the Sir Bu Nair Festival, as one of the most important environmental and heritage festivals held in the Emirate of Sharjah, praising the great role of the festival’s organizing committee for the perfect cooperation and coordination, and thanking them and all the participants.
