Sharjah24: The Health Education Department (HED), which falls under the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, organised a lecture entitled "Self-awareness will Manage My Psychological Pressures". The lecture was delivered by Ms. Afra Salem Mubarak, Acting Director of Kuwait Hospital and a specialist in clinical psychology, and was held at the Council Theatre. The lecture aimed to enhance the awareness of employees in government departments, institutions, and the public, and it was attended by several mothers.
The lecture covered various topics, including the definition and causes of psychological pressure, as well as coping skills. Additionally, the fundamental concepts of self-awareness, its objectives, and the most important criteria and drivers supporting it were discussed. Signs of increased self-awareness in individuals were also addressed.
Eman Rashid Saif, Director of the Health Promotion Department at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, emphasised the department's commitment to promoting health awareness through lectures, campaigns, seminars, and conferences in accordance with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
