Sharjah 24: The Board of Trustees of the Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence continued its meetings, discussing the different tasks and responsibilities, and approved the necessary arrangements to organise a press conference, on Wednesday, June 7 to announce the Award’s details, criteria, and the terms and conditions for participation.
The Board of Trustees agreed on the need to mobilise efforts, and steps to launch the Award's website, which will include all details and registration steps.
The press conference was tackled during the monthly meeting held at the headquarters of the Sharjah Sports Council headed by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami and in the presence of all members.
His Excellency stated that all main committees and sub-committees’ teams are working steadily, until the press conference to announce the Award and reveal its details.
For her part, Her Excellency Najla Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Award, stated that she is pleased with the achievements made so far in terms of the tasks and responsibilities of the work teams and the imminent announcement of the details of the first edition of Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence, in order to start marketing and promotional campaigns and attract target groups to nominate for various categories to achieve the desired goals.
It is noteworthy that the Board of Trustees for Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award has been in an open session since the first meeting, in which positions were assigned. During the past period, the criteria for the Award were approved, and the members began to carry out the tasks assigned to them.
