The council hosted several members of the Sudanese and Asian communities in the presence of Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Wasit Suburb Council.
The initiative dealt with a review of several topics on Ramadan customs, traditions, and rituals in the UAE, such as kinship ties, friends and neighbors, and introducing famous dishes in Emirati cuisine, such as “Tharid”, “Haris”, “Luqaimat”, and others, as well as restoring memories of the past.
