Sharjah24: The Wasit Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs discussed a number of topics and initiatives that concern with the community members, within the framework of its work aimed at enhancing its communication with families.
During the first gathering of the residents as part of the "Yalstna" initiative, which was held at its headquarters in Sharjah, the Council discussed all issues that contribute to creating a safe and healthy environment for all members of society.
The Council stressed the importance of its social role through adopting various activities and initiatives that serve the public interest, aiming to strengthen the bonds of communication between the community members.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Wasit Suburb Council welcomed the people and lauded their keenness to be present and interact with the Council’s activities and events, praising the trust of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Al Suwaidi stressed the importance of strengthening the role of suburban councils in promoting the communication between society’s individuals and officials.
The attendees also discussed a number of issues and initiatives concerning the residents.
