Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Municipality organised a training course on occupational safety, targeting its employees from various departments, aiming to protect human cadres from accidents and injuries in field and construction work sites.
This comes from the strategic plan of Al Hamriyah Municipality for the years 2023-2026, which aims to achieve leadership in various businesses and enhance the quality of life and the continuity of businesses and services.
For her part, Ibtisam Saif Al Shamsi, Head of the Occupational Health and Safety Department at Al Hamriyah Municipality, said that the training package included 3 main training programmes, including firefighting and evacuation, first aid, and safety in construction work.
21 employees benefited from the course, and training lectures were provided in both Arabic and Urdu, through the Emirates Fire and Rescue Company.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, stressed that the municipality is working to qualify national cadres and energies in the field of field safety and prevention, in accordance with international standards for occupational safety and health management.
