The sports classes, which were supervised by a specialised trainer from the Sharjah Ladies Club, Al Hamriyah branch, included many activities and sports and movement programmes with sports advice and topics related to fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Aisha Sultan Mohammed, Head of the City Utilities Management Department in Al Hamriyah Municipality, said that exercising during the holy month of Ramadan is one of the healthy habits that reflects positively on human health and its launch aims to raise awareness of the area of the importance of sports and health nutrition under the supervision of a specialised training staff.
She pointed out that the municipality's initiative is constantly continuing, due to the belief of the Municipality in the importance of exercising for individuals, and its role in community health, and providing health and sports activities for all segments of society under the supervision of specialists, in various parks and public facilities in the Al Hamriyah area, within the framework of the efforts of the Municipality to enhance the quality of life and societal well-being.
