Sharjah24: Hessa Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director of the Community Cohesion Department at Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) , stated that the Grass Voluntary Initiative coincides with the Year of Sustainability, and this initiative is the first of its kind among the initiatives organized by the department, affirming that more than 1,000 participants from government and private institutions, as well as school and university students, participated in this initiative. .
Hessa Al Hammadi confirmed in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the aim of the initiative is to protect the natural environment and encourage the community to afforestation, as 2,000 seedlings were planted in Al-Juraina Park in Sharjah, and volunteers from the Sharjah Center for Voluntary Work participated in the planting.
