Bin Khadim: Int’l Athletics Forum for Disabled to launch on Monday

Sharjah24: Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for Disabled, announced that the 11th Sharjah International Athletics Forum for Disabled will be launch on Monday and will last for 3 days.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for Disabled, extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and to Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and to Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for their interest, support and constant follow-up to the disabled.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for Disabled stated in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24” that the launch of the 11th Sharjah International Athletics Forum for Disabled will be held from February 20 to 22 under the generous patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

Bin Khadim stated that the forum will be stunned with the participation of  360 players representing 26 teams from different countries of the world, competing in several sports specialized for disabled category, in addition to the participation of all Emirati clubs, which reached 6 clubs with a total of 69 players, indicating that the club management has organized many sub-committees to arrange the event in a perfect manner. 

Bin Khadim added that the forum witnessed over previous editions, a remarkable gradual increase in the number of participants. He thanked the Sharjah Sports Council, as it is the  strategic partner in all club activities, and to all partners, strategists, supporters and volunteers.
