Sharjah24: The second round of the Junior Stages of Chess League will start on Saturday to compete for the first positions in the categories under 10, 14 and 18 years for males and females.
Al Dhaid will meet with Al Ain Chess and Mental Games Club, and Abu Dhabi Chess and Mental Games Club will meet with Sharjah Cultural Chess Club, in an under-18 competition for boys.
The first round saw Sharjah defeat Al Dhaid 6-0, and Al Ain beat Dubai Chess and Culture 5-3 against 2.5 points.
Fujairah will face the Kalba Union team, and Abu Dhabi will meet Sharjah Cultural Chess Club in the under-14 category for males. The last round saw Abu Dhabi defeat Fujairah 4-2 and Sharjah beat Ittihad Kalba 5-1.
In the under-10 competition for boys, Abu Dhabi will meet Sharjah, after the first round witnessed Sharjah's victory over Al Ain 5-1.
At the level of females under 18 years old, Dubai will meet with the girls of Ras Al Khaimah, and Abu Dhabi will meet with the Chess and Culture Club for girls in Sharjah.
In the under-14 competition for females, Dubai will meet with the girls of Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain with the girls of Sharjah.
Abu Dhabi will meet Sharjah girls in the under-10 competition for girls, and the first round witnessed Dubai's victory over Sharjah girls 4-2.
