Al Serkal inspects Eastern Region Police Department

Sharjah 24: Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations at the Sharjah Police (SP), inspected the Eastern Region Police Department at the SP, with the aim of reviewing the most important security developments in line with the directions of the UAE.
He was received by Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, accompanied by Colonel Rashid Saif Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, and a number of heads and branch managers from the department.

This is part of the field visits to follow up on the progress of work in the departments of the SP.

The Director General of Police Operations began his inspection visit by holding a meeting that included the heads and the directors of branches. 

Colonel Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi discussed the achievements made during the year 2021-2022 by reviewing the most prominent strategic indicators, and the extent to which targets were achieved.

For his part, Brigadier General Al Serkal discussed the progress of work and the nature of security issues, as he directed the importance of standing on the most prominent challenges and ways of addressing them.

He noted the need to focus on the quality of services provided, which translate the visions and aspirations stipulated in the recently launched Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Interior 2023-2026, aiming to reach a bright future that ensures the path of excellence and leadership in police work.

On the sidelines of the visit, Brigadier General Al Serkal honoured a team of volunteers for their cooperation in finding a missing person who was stuck in the mountains, and they were able to rescue him in record time after he lost his way in Khorfakkan.

Brigadier General Al Serkal praised the honourees for their courage, sense of security and responsibility in order to save the lives of those in distress, whether citizens, residents or visitors to the Eastern Region.

For their part, the honourees expressed their happiness with this honour, which indicates the appreciation of the SP in that regard.
