Sharjah24: Lieutenant Colonel Majed Al Asam, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department of Sharjah Police stressed that the 'Yes to Sports... No to Drugs' sports awareness campaign promotes the goals of the Ministry of Interior and Sharjah Police by bolstering security and stability, contributing to increase awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and addiction with spreading awareness on how to make optimal use of leisure time, highlighting the importance of regular physical activity and sports.
As part of the sports awareness campaign, targeting the emerging generations represented by secondary school students in the schools of the Emirate of Sharjah, a padel tennis and judo tournament was organised with the participation of a large number of players and youths.
