This took place at the Sajaya Young Ladies Centre in Al Qarain for the eighth session of the Sharjah Youth Shura Council, which represents young people aged 13 to 16, and at the Sharjah Children's Centre in Al Qarain for the seventeenth session of the Sharjah Children's Shura Council, which represents children aged 8 to 11 years old.
During the session held at the Sajaya Young Ladies headquarters, Director of the Youth Welfare Department at Sharjah Youth Abdul Hameed Al Yasi greeted the attendees and urged them to make efforts and donations to continue the success of the council in its previous sessions.
The mission of the Sharjah Children and Youth Parliaments is to foster an environment conducive to the development of national staff with the potential to effect positive change in society through the cultivation of general and parliamentary culture, as well as the establishment of a forum for the open and productive exchange of ideas and the pursuit of practical solutions to problems.
