Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Head of the Public Works Department, inspected the progress in the department's projects in light of the current weather condition, praising the efforts of the work teams in the department that worked around the clock, making sure everything was clear.
He indicated that the competent departments directed the contracting companies in their projects to put all of their auxiliary machines, including diesel pumps and tanks, to support the emergency teams when necessary.
He explained that the qualified cadres prepared a proactive plan to deal with the weather condition, as it formed work teams for emergency cases.
He added that the building maintenance department had prepared a proactive plan to ensure security and safety factors in buildings and ensure their readiness.
