SCC approves draft amendment to SEC registration law

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), during its fourth session, held on Thursday morning, chaired by Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Council, as part of its work for the fourth ordinary session of the tenth legislative term at its headquarters in Sharjah, approved an amendment to the draft law amending the law regarding the organisation of the Sharjah Education Council (SEC) in the Emirate of Sharjah, highlighting Sharjah's position as a leading destination in the field of early childhood

During the meeting, being attended by the Secretary-General of the Council, Ahmed Saeed Al-Jarwan, Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, and several other dignitaries, the attendees discussed all the provisions of the draft law amendment and its various objectives.

The members reviewed the possible mechanisms that advance the role of the Sharjah Education Council, ensuring the sustainability of its educational policies. They also emphasised the importance of supporting the educational initiatives and activities, underscoring its significance in promoting excellence and innovation.

The council dealt with the goals of the draft law that enable the Sharjah Education Council to enhance its contributions among the members of society.

After the discussion, the Council approved a draft law amending the law regarding the organisation of the Sharjah Education Council in the Emirate of Sharjah.

At the end of the session, the Secretary-General of the Council, Ahmed Saeed Al-Jarwan, announced that the next session would be held on December 8, provided that the Council's General Secretariat would determine its subject later.
