Sharjah24: The Center for Elderly Services in the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), is preparing to launch the activities of the “Ajyal” Festival next week in its fourth session, in Muwafjah Park in Sharjah, where its activities will continue from 17-20 of this month, aiming to promote integration between the elderly and the younger generation
The festival aims to promote the process of integration and communication between generations to promote social inclusion of older people.
Several entities participated in the festival, including, the Sharjah Police General Command, Civil Defense Department, National Ambulance, Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Education Council, in addition to a number of other institutions and folklore groups.
The festival includes community, awareness, entertainment and educational workshops, programs for all segments of society, and several other activities that ensure the integration of age groups and engage multiple generations.
The Center for the Elderly Services invites all members of society to attend the festival and participate in its activities.
