Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) launched its annual project, which falls under the framework of providing support, care and integration to the neediest social groups in society to achieve social cohesion and a decent standard of living.

According to Kholoud Al Ali, Director of the Elderly Services Centre, this year the project targets 5,000 senior citizens from nursing homes and all beneficiaries of the department's services from the category of senior citizens.

The project also opens the way for all institutions to provide support and assistance to this category, promoting well-being and decent living.
