Salem bin Abdulrahman celebrates UAE’s Flag Day in Sharjah

The celebration began with raising the flag, accompanied by the national anthem, followed by numerous activities, including musical performances by the military band and an air show by the Sharjah Air Wing Department.
The ceremony is a celebration of the nation’s history, its prosperity, and its outstanding achievements that have been achieved over 51 years, and a pledge of allegiance to the leader of the march, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Flag Day consolidates the values of national unity and a memorial of the sacrifices of the nation's martyrs.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD), Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, several heads of government departments and officials.
