The International Education Show is organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Sharjah Private Education Authority, and more than 100 local and international universities and educational and academic institutions participate in it.
After the official opening, Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman toured the International Education Show, which showcases the participations of academic institutions inside and outside the country from universities, technical and training institutes and colleges, as well as ministries of education and institutions specialised in the fields of education, curriculum development and teacher training.
In this year's edition, the International Education Show displays hundreds of the latest educational and academic programmes, including a wide range of education options from universities, colleges, institutes of higher education, commercial schools, technical institutes and administrative training centres from different countries of the world. In addition to providing the opportunity for students to view different academic programmes in all disciplines such as medicine, engineering, business administration and others.
The event runs until October 22 with a wide range of specialised courses in undergraduate, graduate and professional studies and innovative professional employment programmes, in addition to seminars and scholarships provided by various educational institutions participating in the event.
The event witnessed the presence of Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of Sharjah Municipal Council, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, Ali Al Hosani, Director of Sharjah Private Education Authority, and a number of top officials.
