Salem bin Abdulrahman attends graduation of 'Future Coach Diploma'

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, attended, on Monday, the graduation ceremony for students of the Future Coach Diploma, in the theatre hall of the Sharjah Education Council.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, gave a speech in which His Excellency thanked and appreciated the Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office for attending the ceremony and honouring the graduates.



His Excellency highlighted the council's efforts and strategy aimed at developing sports cadres and supporting them with qualifying programmes, stating that in order to meet the challenges of the future, there are other programmes of the council that aim to prepare and qualify cadres in various fields of sports.

His Excellency added that this comes to achieve the lofty goal of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for preparing the Emirate’s athletes.



The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council concluded His Excellency’s speech by noting that the programme prepares students aspiring to enter the world of training as professional coaches, in order to learn about developing players, raising their physical and technical levels, and investing in the sports in the Emirate.

Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi honoured the 62 graduates of the programme.



The students in the programme had received lectures on five main topics in 175 hours of study, where the programme witnessed the wide participation of coaches, and former and current club players. In addition to receiving theoretical, practical and interactive training under the supervision of specialised experts and academic professors.
