Sharjah 24: The Organising Committee of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour 2023 discussed the initial stages and tracks of the event in its eighth edition, as part of early preparations to provide the greatest guarantees of success for the major international event, which is scheduled January 27 and will last for five days.
This came during the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Sharjah Sports Council, chaired by Abdul Malik Mohammed Jani, Vice Chairman of the Council, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour, in the presence of several officials.
During the meeting, Abdul Malik Jani stressed the need to rise to a higher level of success in the next edition of the event, in order to preserve the emirate’s reputation in organising international sporting events. Other issued related to the event were also addressed at the meeting.
He added that the Sharjah Tour has its global reputation and therefore represents an important factor that highlights tourism in the emirate and serves as a tourist trip for its participants due to its passing through the wonderful and distinctive tourist areas and landmarks in the emirate reflecting the continuous renaissance and the wonderful and picturesque landscapes and heritage of the emirate.
