Sharjah24: "Aman, Ya Beladi " programme hosted Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Khamis Al-Othmani, Director General of the Academy of Police Sciences, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Future Readiness Award, and Dr. Abdullah Al Hayai, Director of the Department of Officers’ College at the Academy, Secretary-General of the Award, to share their opinions in the episode titled “ Sharjah Police Future Readiness Award..A fingerprint in making the future,” presented by Captain Ahmed Al Hammadi and First Lieutenant Saud Busim.
Brigadier General Dr. Muhammad Al-Othmani, the program's guest, discussed the strategy used by the Sharjah Police General Command and the Academy of Police Sciences to anticipate the future in police operations as part of the UAE Centennial 2071.
In his speech, he touched on the Future Readiness Award launched by Sharjah Police in cooperation with the Academy last August, which targeted researchers and experts in the field of the future from all over the world, to present their future security visions, in a way that enhances proactivity and readiness for the future according to the following magazines: The future of transportation, and the future of cybersecurity. The future of drug abuse and combating and rehabilitation of drug users, the future of correctional and penal institutions and rehabilitation of inmates, the future of outsourcing or privatizing government services and services, future non-traditional crimes, and the future of work systems.
