Sharjah24: During a meeting held at the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), Chairman Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi met with a team from the Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority (LSDA), led by Chairman Salem Yousef Al Qaseer. The goal of the meeting was to make it easier for the two groups to work together to help Sharjah's economy grow in a way that is sustainable.
This would be done by making good use of human and technical resources, giving all the services that are needed, and promoting SEDD Chairman welcomed the guests and emphasised the importance of holding such gatherings to enhance cooperation and coordination, which in turn would boost the Emirate's economy in the long run. Moreover, he revealed that the department had made significant progress in terms of development and improvement according to service efficiency so that the organisation could get closer to realising its mission of creating lasting economic growth and becoming an industry leader.
In addition, he emphasised that the department is always working to improve its services so that it may better meet the needs of its customers without sacrificing efficiency or quality. He emphasised the department's ongoing efforts to improve its work in its divisions across the emirate in order to speed up the process of completing customer requests on the one hand, and to update and raise the levels of service delivery systems on the other hand, in order to provide the best possible service for customers, and in the application of the Customer Service Charter standards, which contribute to achieving customer satisfaction.
Last but not least, the two groups reaffirmed the need to enhance future collaboration in light of federal and local government service standards. They stressed the need for future meetings of this nature in accelerating development processes, enhancing investment flows in the emirate, and bringing the two sides together to work toward the same goal.
