Sharjah24: The drawing ceremony of the draw for the twenty-fourth Football Championship for Bodies, Institutions and Government Departments, will be held on Wednesday, with the participation of 15 teams representing different government departments and institutions in Sharjah. The football championship is organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club, in cooperation with Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled, under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.
Commenting on this, Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Government Employees Club, confirmed that this championship is part of a series of tournaments organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club in all sports competitions to achieve the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at providing all services for Sharjah government employees. He also pointed out that the aim of the tournament is to develop the spirit of honest competition, noting that the tournament is a good opportunity for communication between Sharjah employees outside of work.
