Sharjah 24: The famous football player of the Sharjah Club, Ahmad Suroor, signed a contract at the Mar Menor-Club in San Javier, Spain, to play with the club in Spain's third level league.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, congratulated the step and reaffirmed the council's willingness to support any professional player from the Emirate of Sharjah who competes internationally and earns acclaim for the Emirate.

Al Hazimi met with Mayor Miguel Longo of San Javier on the same day, in the presence of the Chairman of the Mar Menor Club and other sports officials.

The mayor of the city thanked Al Hazami for his visit and welcomed the chance to work with the Emirate of Sharjah in a number of ways.
