Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) crowned the winners of the first edition of the Club rationalization competition, which was held Thursday at Al Dana Hall in Sharjah, which was launched among the emirate’s clubs in September last year with the aim of developing individual and collective awareness in the use of energy resources to reduce material burdens on the government.

The closing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Aziz Al Mualla, Chairman of the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Head of the Human Resources Department in Sharjah, Chairman of Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled, and His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, President of Sharjah Sports Club, Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority.

The ceremony began with a promotional film about the race and its stages, then His Excellency Issa Hilal, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, gave a brief speech on the feasibility and importance of the race, stressing the great role that sport plays in raising awareness and creating new behaviors that contribute to spreading the culture of rationalization, and then the names of the winners were announced.
