Sharjah24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) distributed school bags to needy people as part of the "Back to School" project, comprising 6000 bags for students in all academic grades. Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to get close to the event by interviewing Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of SCI who spared no effort in shedding light on the event.
In exclusive statements to Sharjah24, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, said “On Saturday morning, we started completing the back-to-school project for the seventh year in a row, and allocating a well-equipped place for families to receive their children’s bags, and to choose the bag that the student loves.”
Bin Khadem added that this year, we are targeting 6,000 bags to distribute to needy families, thanks to the support and efforts of all institutions and strategic partners.
At the conclusion of his speech, the Executive Director of the SCI confirmed that SCI ultimate goal is to deliver the message of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, that charitable work in the emirate enables people to rely on themselves with dignity and pride, and to deliver the message of goodness to everyone who lives on the territory of the United Arab Emirates.
