Sharjah24: Sharjah Police Chief, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, chairman of the Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD), and Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Director of the Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD), this morning to discuss the "Sharjah 2022 Census Project."
The objective of the meeting is to support the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and his interest in development projects in the cities of the Emirate of Sharjah by enhancing the comprehensive development plans and the census project.

The meeting addressed several pressing issues in the sphere of statistical inquest, including the creation of a preventative security plan, the clarification of the Sharjah Police's role in the safety of field researchers in their workplaces, the dissemination of information to the public about researchers' on-site visits to buildings, houses, and facilities, and the dissemination of security awareness regarding the importance of authenticating the researcher's identity. Providing links in electronic form at the "self-enumeration" phase of the process.
