Sharjah24: Kalba Municipal Council met with representatives from several government agencies and institutions at the municipal Health and Laboratories Department headquarters on Monday, to learn more about the city's preparations for the start of the 51st National Day celebrations. Sharjah24 news website offered a real window to get close to the event by interviewing Dr Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, the Council Chairman, who spared no efforts to shed light on the event.
Dr Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, chaired the meeting, which was also attended by the Director of the Municipality, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, and several other municipal and federal government officials.
According to remarks made by Al Zaabi to Sharjah 24, the meeting focused on the most important suggestions and recommendations for the National Day Celebrations Committee in the city of Kalba and its associated areas.
He explained that the council and the municipality, in cooperation with partners, are working to intensify work to proactively raise the city's readiness for this precious occasion, as a campaign was launched to distribute flags to the people, and work began on decorating streets and roads in Kalba.
