Sharjah 24: The Kalba Municipal Council (KMC) held, on Wednesday, its regular general meeting in the presence of the Vice-Chairman and members of the council.
The meeting discussed a number of issues and proposals, including strengthening preventive measures for beachgoers, coinciding with the advent of summer.
His Excellency Hashim Al Bairaq, Vice-Chairman of the Kalba Municipal Council (KMC), chaired the regular general meeting of the council, in the presence of Eng. Abdulrhaman Al Naqbi, Director of the Kalba Municipality, council members and a number of heads of departments in the municipality.
His Excellency said in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the meeting began by extending the highest thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
His Excellency added that words of appreciation towards His Highness are enough, for his efforts and generous support to the city of Kalba, which are represented in many development projects that have enhanced the quality of life in the city and provided decent livelihoods for its people.
His Excellency said that the meeting discussed a number of issues related to the great progress in Kalba, and the advancement of services, meeting the aspirations of the wise leadership.
His Excellency explained that the council is keen to cooperate with the municipality at all levels, pointing out that, coinciding with the advent of the summer season, the attendees discussed ways to enhance preventive measures for beachgoers, especially those who love swimming, to provide all elements of security and safety for them.
Concluding his statement, His Excellency confirmed that its doors are open to the public to receive, listen and study the various proposals and recommendations aimed within the framework of its competencies, and in cooperation with all concerned government entities and departments.
