Sharjah 24: During a meeting with a delegation from the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (FAICCPS), led by Director General Ahmed Abdullah Bin Lahej Al Falasi, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, emphasised the importance of customs cooperation between the local and federal levels.
The meeting focused on strengthening control and supporting customs inspections at the ports of the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to discussing the mechanism of linking the customs systems implemented by the General Administration of Customs in the Authority, with Sharjah Customs systems.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi praised the FAICCPS and Sharjah Customs' teamwork.
