Sharjah 24: Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, received an invitation from Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam to attend the match with Liverpool in the sixth and final round of the UEFA Champions League.
The match will be held at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on Tuesday 26 October.
On this occasion, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, who collected the invitation from the Dutch club during his visit to the country, stated that the visit aims to strengthen relations with European clubs, and discuss ways to benefit from the club's expertise in developing Sharjah clubs.
His Excellency added that this also advances sports in the Emirate in general, pointing to another visit that will be followed by the Spanish club Granada for the same purpose.
