Sharjah 24: The UAE national player, Ali Al Hammadi, won first place in the first edition of the Suburban Electronic Football Championship, which was launched by the Sharjah Sports Council on September 30, with the participation of 181 players from 10 different suburbs in the Emirate.
Haider Ezzat came in second place, Rashid Al Zaabi in third place and Adel Kadash in fourth place, and the winners received gold, silver and bronze medals in addition to financial prizes.
The event witnessed the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Shakhbout Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Emirates E-Sports Federation, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of Districts and Villages Affairs Department, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, and number of top officials.

In turn, Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, confirmed that the championship achieved its goal thanks to the strong competition between the participants and the exemplary cooperation between the organisers.
